Vancouver Realty Online would like to present ‘Westside Detached Stat Package’ for the week of January 19th – January 26th.
This past week there were 54 new detached active listings in the Vancouver West Region. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) new listings in your area for that period.
The 54 new detached active listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:

Vancouver Realty Online would like to present our ‘Westside Attached Stat Package‘, for the week of January 26th – February 2nd. New listing numbers saw a drastic fall this week of around 50% from 103 new listings to 56. Sales figures remained relatively static though we have been seeing a resurgence in buyer activity, and are hoping to see a rise in sales volume over the next four weeks as price depreciation, and favorable financing options start to take hold.
This past week there were 151 new active attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 56 falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) new listings in your area for that period.
The 56 new active attached listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:
University (UL) : 5
South Cambie (SC) : 1
Quilchena (QU) : 2
Point Grey (PG) : 1
Marpole (MR) : 2
Kitsilano (KT): 17
Kerrisdale (KE): 3
False Creek (FC) : 3
Fairview (FA) : 18
Dunbar (DU) : 2
Cambie (CA) : 2
The Westisde neighbourhoods accounted for 56 : 151 or 37% of overall Vancouver West attached new listings from January 26th – February 2nd.
This past week there were 46 sold attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 18 falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) sales in your area for that period.
The 18 sold listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:

We have compiled sales and listings statistics for the period running from January 26th to February 2nd, and released them in this easy to read format! If you have any further questions or require more detail please get in touch with us. There has been an increase in buyer activity this past week though we expect it to take another 3-4 weeks to result in a notable higher volume in sales. As it stands we see a noted decrease in new listings, and a relatively stable sales figure. As mentioned, we expect the increased buyer activity and great lending conditions to result in an increase in sales over the next 4 weeks.
Listing versus Sales update for January 26 – February 2
151 new listings in the Vancouver West Region with 95 (63%) falling in the downtown areas (including: West End, Downtown, Coal Harbour, and False Creek North sub-areas).
New Listings Per Sub-Area:
TOTAL : 95
46 total sales in the Vancouver West Region with 28 (51%) falling in the downtown areas.
Sales Per Sub-Area:
TOTAL : 28
Sales were up once again, moving from 38 sales to 46; the number remains well below seasonal norms. As stated previously there has been an influx of buyer activity over the past two weeks as more individuals seem to be looking at price depreciation and favorable mortgage conditions. There was also a drop-off in new listing activity as the post-holiday rush cools off. The sales to listing ratio nearly doubled this past week to [46 : 151] or 30%. As we can see, however; the bulk of this movement was the result of a fall-off in new listing activity, and not an increase in sales volume.
