This past week there were 75 new detached active listings in the Vancouver West Region. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) new listings in your area for that period.
The 75 new detached active listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:

Vancouver Realty Online would like to present our ‘Westside Attached Stat Package‘, for the week of February 2nd – February 9th. New listing numbers rose slighting this week from 56 new attached listings to 87 on the Westside. Sales figures remained relatively static though we have been seeing a resurgence in buyer activity, and are hoping to see a rise in sales volume over the next four weeks as price depreciation, and favorable financing options start to take hold.
This past week there were 210 new active attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 87 falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) new listings in your area for that period.
The 87 new active attached listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:
University (UL) : 9
Shaughnessy (SH) : 2
South Granville (SG) : 1
Quilchena (QU) : 7
Point Grey (PG) : 2
Oakridge (OA) : 1
Kitsilano (KT): 19
Kerrisdale (KE): 2
False Creek (FC) : 4
Fairview (FA) : 37
Dunbar (DU) : 1

The Westisde neighbourhoods accounted for 87 : 210 or 41% of overall Vancouver West attached new listings from February 2nd – February 9th.
This past week there were 59 sold attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 20 falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) sales in your area for that period.
The 20 sold listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:
Point Grey (PG) : 1
Marpole (MR) : 1
Kitsilano (KT) : 11
Kerrisdale (KE) : 2
Fairview (FA) : 5
The Westside neighbourhoods accounted for 20 : 59 or 34% of overall Vancouver West attached solds from February 2nd – February 9th.

We have compiled sales and listings statistics for the period running from February 2nd to February 9th, and released them in this easy to read format! If you have any further questions or require more detail please get in touch with us. The increase in buyer activity continued this past week as lower prices, and favorable lending conditions create heightened market interest. As it stands we see a minor increase in new listings, and a relatively stable sales figure. As mentioned, we expect the increased buyer activity and great lending conditions to result in an increase in sales over the next 4 weeks.
Listing versus Sales update for February 2nd – February 9th
210 new listings in the Vancouver West Region with 124 (59%) falling in the downtown areas (including: West End, Downtown, Coal Harbour, and False Creek North sub-areas).
New Listings Per Sub-Area:

59 total sales in the Vancouver West Region with 39 (66%) falling in the downtown areas.
Sales Per Sub-Area:
TOTAL : 39
Sales were up once again, moving from 46 sales to 59; the number remains well below seasonal norms. As stated previously there has been an influx of buyer activity over the past two weeks as more individuals seem to be looking at price depreciation and favorable mortgage conditions. The sales to listing ratio remained fairly stable this past week, sitting at [59 : 210] or 28%.
